What is the Government and what are politicians? We discussed the role of an MP and how they are elected etc. Now we will discuss what Government actually is. The Cabinet is an important part of the Government. What is the Cabinet and why is it so important?

Parliament

You now have some information about the UK Parliament. Find out more about the role of MPs from www.parliament.uk and explain why the job of an MP is so important.

The Gunpowder Plot

Today - 5th November - is the day we remember an act of treason which happened over 400 years ago. Write what you have found out about this.

People celebrate with bonfires and fireworks. You can join the festivities in Ynysangharad Park, Pontypridd on Sunday evening around 6pm or in Coopers Field in Cardiff on Saturday night around 6pm! Don't miss it!!
